A lot has happened this past summer. For those of you who do not know, my grandfather passed away. It was very tough on the whole family. Still is tough, but we know the plan that our Heavenly Father has for us and we are eternally grateful to be apart of that plan. Some good has come from Gramps having a stroke in April and passing away in July. Grandma Amy started going back to church the weekend of gramps stroke. Long story short... my grandparents are both members of the LDS church but were never active for one reason or another. It wasn't long till we figured out that Grandma would be doing this for the rest of her life, we gave her a set of scriptures for mothers day. She has completed The Book of Mormon and the Doctrine & Covenants. She is now in the Pearl of Great Price and will start the BOM over again. She's an amazing women whom I have grown to love, honor, and respect. She has been talking about the blessings of the Temple lately... It is my prayer that she'll be able to attend the Temple and be able to be sealed to my grandfather for time and eternity. I know that my mother has been wanting this for a very long time. I can only imagine the excitement that she is feeling as she will be able to be sealed to her parents. Next summer will be AWESOME!!!I do want to share a quick story with you guys. Most of you know that I am named after both of my grandmothers. My gramps had a tattoo on his left arm. It was a heart with some flowery vines and scroll across the heart that said "AMY." When I was little I thought that gramps loved me the most because he had MY name tattooed on his arm. Yeah, when I finally figured it out that the Amy on his arm was my grandmother I was a bit sad, I wont lie. I will always remember the wink and smile that my grandfather showed me that day. =0) He was an amazing man and the ideal grandfather. He taught me so many things that I am going to enjoy teaching my little ones some day. =0) Thank you for your love and support to me and my family. We love and appreciate everyone so very much. =0) I have made a goal to blog at least once a month... so LOOK OUT!!! =0)
